Hello everyone!
Just wondering. Who plays skyrim? :P
I just got skyrim yesterday, and created a Nord but a friend told me that Nord's were ALRIGHT. and he said that wood elves, dark elves or khajeet (IDK how to spell) were good. So I created a wood elf. But I don't like their style of combat, so I might go back to Nord. Does anybody else have a suggestion as to which race? I like using a sword, but also like using a bow. I don't have a lot of experience. The nord is only level 2.
Thanks :P

Use a Breton. They are probably the best fighter class imo

Play as an assassin! Use a dark elf, argonian, or a kahjeet

Bow and daggers are the way to go :)

You can actually use any race to make an archer/blade master type of character.
The race simply gives you added powers that you may or may not use frequently.
In my case, i chose the characters that look nicer.. :D
nord, high elf, imperial. Tried the wood elf too, though i tweaked with the looks.
The animals...they look weird to me. :p

Just train your blacksmithing, stealth, and archery at the beginning. You can get a sort of free archery training from Faendal. (just google it). Hunt down deers wolves and bears to get their hides. Always crouch when doing so. This way, you train your stealth as well. Deers easily spook. U can use these materials for crafting armours and weapons.

The good thing about Elder Scrolls V is that raising your abilities also allow you to gain exp at the same time. When you mastered blacksmithing, you can craft the "legendary" dragon armour! How cool is that? Haha.. If you're choosing acher, i recommend wearing the dragon light armour. And Daedric Bow coupled with daedric arrows, best combination in my opinion.

But if you want to be warrior with high defence, daedric is the way to go. You can find daedra hearts at the college of Winterhold at the Hall of Attainment, second floor. Talk to the guy named Enthir. He sells around two Daedra hearts at a time. The metals for it can also be found from merchants, though not often.

Last note, get Jenassa as your companion for laters...she is good at stealth. And if u go steal things (or become a homicidal maniac), she wont mind. :D i hope this helps you a bit.

They are only good at the beginning, then its all the same. I play as a dark elf assassin, which more resistant to fire. Dragons are a pain sometimes

I agree. Dragons are a pain sometimes. Especially when ur in a valley or on the mountains. They can toast u so easily :D. I forgot what the code is to make a lot of dragons appear in the sky. Fun fun fun. Lol, just make sure ur companion is set to "essential" so he/she doesn't die. Dead companions have this annoying ability to turn up in church when ur being married. Spooky!

Hey MIN! :)
Skyrim is an amazing game, so much to do and the story is great!
When you get tired of dying over and over again google "Dawnstar merchant skyrim glitch".
Its a nice glitch that makes the game a million times easier for newer players. :)
I have a level 80 or 81 nord I cant remember but killing dragons is AWESOME lol
I just started a female dark elf for fun, goin to side with the imperials this time around. :)
