So you have no choice- and you have to pick to either be really small (a dwarf) or really tall (8ft) in real life, what would you be?

Really tall for sure. Not only does that mean I could reach more things, but tall people don't have to put up with the societal stigma and judgement that little people unfortunately have to

Tall, because then you can have a shot at the NBA, or just be that guy whom everyone fears on the basketball court on your playground. You could get movie offers as well.

And like Horch mentioned, less social stigma. If you have thick skin then stares won't be a problem.
