UK Roadtrip

I'm looking to do a little car roadtrip with some pals before I head off to University in a couple of weeks.
Does anyone recommend anywhere that's a 'must see' landmark or town in England/Scotland?

Edinburgh, 100%. The place is everything I love about Scotland and more.
So many great sights, things to do, places to eat (Go to "The Dog", it is the only restaurant I've left and thought "I need to go back, possibly now")
Glencoe and Avimore, always amazing. Get hiking in the Lake District down in England, been a few times, always loved it.

Tbh I'd say central London (Oxford street and all that) but you probs have been quite a few times
