we're the only class using dex as a main attack skill as the modifier

piling up on dex also means your auto attack is gimped to death, also meaning your best asset rapid shot is gimped

we are the only class who feel the need to get dex because dex affect our main skills: barb, sharp, and heck, HEAL even...

sure if you like to keep using sharp/barb/rapid/heal and forfeit on high auto attack, good luck being forced to buy all the regen gears and see how far that gets you lasting in long boss fights.

You must not play ranger properly, dex is the best thing about ranger , calling it a noob stat seriously makes you a noob in my eyes.

Adjust yourself , don't ask the game to adjust for you.

well, dex isnt a noob skill, but the system here works simply, so at least change that the dex will make our auto atk higher
all our skills r based on dex, but when we need to make our auto atk higher we need str, and str isnt skills stat, for example with warrior, all our skills r based on vit and str, best stats for warrior, druid, everything on focus, good for healing and not wasting points on vit, rouge? str, mage? focus,
all the melee atkers classes should have their skills based on str, and all casters on focus, that way all the melee atkers can have both skills and auto atk stronger, like warrior and rouge

and defensive spikes dmg is really stupid, as rangers we dont use lures like mages, so at least they should make the dmg like cloak\even higher since we dont use lures

Rangers dex/str dynamic is one of the things I love about ranger. I feel alot of people overlook the usefullness of dex. People tend to look at the big number offered from a str build yet they forget about all the missed hits.

10 shots at 500 each , 6 hit that's 3000 damage

10 shots at 350 each , 10 hit that's 3500 damage

It's not a noob stat it just matter what you prefer dps or jus defence. It also good for dps as you won't miss as much

personally I would like to see every stat do something across the board for all classes. Maybe have strength effect meele damage/AC, dexterity for ranged damaged and evaision, Focus for anything magic related such as healing or anything that casts and energy, you get the point. Something like this would make all classes have to spread out their points instead of just dumping everything into one or two of them.

This thread is for discussion , the petition thread should be a simple yes or no but since you didn't follow petition guidelines it's worthless anyways no way admin will change anything based on that thread it has way too many opinions , probably should have a thread like this and come to some sort of consesus before making a petition asking for alot of crap rangers don't need

Over 1000$ into this game and i cant even get a reply from otm f it rangers r doomed moving on to mage somehow they got the patch we needed focus effects everything more all skills cool down 30% faster cast faster cost less energy. Guidelines want some references I personaly feel that's overkill when u can simply read ranger page and c everythin I mention is constantly (as in daily) discused u don't need a reference for comon knowledge. Secondly it says to focus on one simple thing am I realy suposed to break this patch down into 10 others once again overkill. Mage was fixed in 2 patches each one dealing with 4-5 skill buffs including 30-60% faster casting cooldown dmg and or focus effet being multiplied.(fighting for the same thing on dex) I was shooting for the same thing but due to red tape and the epic forum trolls this ain't goin no where I gave it a shot and failed if someone else wants to giv it a shot plz do. My advice overkill is required on breaking down simple concepts for simple minds. Take it one skill at a time multi tasking is a no go.

I rape on my ranger I'm happy with what I have. But conceal should be made actually effective it was designed as a support skill so why such a long cooldown to where you just lead your group into a massacre. And not just ranger buts all classes should be able to cancle an attack animation, if I go to run back and I don't get the damage anymore then why must I stand there for the animation?
