I disagree about our heal being weak.
Rapid cool down is silly making it silly to dump points if not knuck build .
Entangle broken .
I don't know about camo conceal.
I do not want str based skills I like it how it is.
Def spike damage is fine , spell should last twice as long though
Mobs effective range is same for everyone

In my opinion ranger is not at all "broken" we are asking for too much in these posts, all these things are minor , except for maybe the issues with camo/conceal , ranger is hands down the best class in this game and we should all just be happy we made a ranger as our main class.
lol i agree it funy as it says light heal and every other heal uses vit and u wuld think light heal uses vit but nope dex hahaha an if u noticed that im doing round same damage with 100 str comperd to 350 str thers not much diff so max str u need is 300 its stuped and yeh agree on how u go so far and lose target but we lern to live with it lol

I disagree. At 20/20 it only does around 30 damage which is hardly usefull. I do agree the duration could be longer as well.
For entangle, the cast time and cool down is a bit lengthy as well. I wish that the cooldown for rapid shot got shorter with increased points put into it, not the other way around. And as always, it would be absolutley great if other ranger skills could be used while wielding a spear. :lol:

I spend about 90% of my time solo, the other 10% is clan bossing. Nobody should have to rely on another class to make any of their skills usefull. I think that spikes should have a range limit. If you look at the skill itself it is a ring of wooden spikes that a mob impales itself on while trying to attack you. Why should this work if your 50 meters away and hitting a mob with a bow? Now lets say that same mob closes the distance and is now within melee range, then spikes should work. I dont ever see spikes being OP, but perhaps they could be made usefull at least in terms of doing a reasonable amount of damage which currently it does not do. I have close to 400 dex right now and it doesnt seem to have any effect on the damage output of spikes, although I wish it did. :roll:

What are you talkin about ? My spikes do an average of 75 damage on mobs same level as me or below , up to 175 or so depending on assassins lure . I think you are probably fighting mobs considerably higher than you if your spikes are not usefull . Spikes do damage when you are hit with melee , range to mob is irrelevant . Yes dex has an affect on spikes. As far as you playing this mmo as a solo player that is fine and fun (i did so with ranger most of the way to 153) but you should not expect skills to have the same type of effectiveness solo since this game is meant to be played n groups. Spikes are most useful for bossing in combination with a good pierce lure.

My ranger just turned level 90 so my skill level just went up, spikes for me is now 25/25 and is now doing about 45 damage. So i can see how Eliminator most likely being 30/30 or perhaps higher with rings is doing 75 damage. But still.. 30 skill points invested to only do 75 damage? Thats pathetic. This skill needs some adjusting in update 4.
