I am just wondering if spears are worth it.

Verry worth it I have a max melee base dmg of 2423 with a spear and offhand blade 2nd best in my world arawn but only 1700 base dmg with a bow Both abilitys maxed
trident speed is 3000 while frozen bow is 2950ish so truly more dps

with a spear u can use a shield and tank with entangle and a good heal

finaly with a dex aggy trident and offhand trident u get more str and dex buff than frozen bow with quiver my light heal after a rebirth was 1205 maxed but with bow 1100ish so basicly unless u have agro and need to bolas spear is beter in every way.

Depends on your level and equipment .

Other than Aggy tridents , spears are garbage , bow offers more flexibility than spear . All spears other than Aggy drops will lower your dps , although spears have bigger damage numbers they are slow and reduce dps .

I recommend knucks if you do not have a trident , but at same time keep your spear skill leveled it is a pain in the arse to have to level spear skill from 0 - 1500 if you get an Aggy trident .

But to each his own , there have been posters in the past that love spear , this is just my opinion .

Aggy trident with blade offhand dmg 2423 speed is 3050*

frozen bow with fire quiver dmg 1755 speed is 2900*

Both abilities maxed at 1500 the reason the now is so much weaker is the offhand also aggy trident have great buffs frozen bow not so much

Eliminator is correct (like usual) tho bow is much ezr to play with

Thanks, but just to clarify, if I do get good at using spears, and I have say a diamond spear, should I get an offhand blade or offhand trident?

Depends if u r just dps sword if u r any type of hybrid w support trident for bigger heals and the energy regen to keep casting

I guess I will be getting the Golden Blade of ice then, once I get my gold.
