What skill is better rapid shot or barbed shot? I am level 70. I do plan to help start boss fighting but I do not plan to be a main dps guy as of now. Not until I'm 110+. I solo alot and want whichever will be more efficient to level solo. Also in what order should i max my skills?

Yeah, rapid at 1 is still great, costs much less energy, and it saves points. Find a different skill to spend them on, just not barbed shot

Do not max rapid shot. Its fun for lvling but it wont be much need in boss fights.

For barbed i can say its good u can compare it with the rend skill u have with rogues. u do one hit and u got 3 other hits that will follow automatically, ive got barbed nearly maxed and agree with rogue rapid at 1is still great.

Personally rapid shot is my favourite skill. In pvp for example I keep bolasing who I'm fighting, and then use rapid shot to deal fast damage. After a few repetitions of this they usually die, unless they have a lot of regen, or have good armour.

I also think barbed shot is completely useless, so I havent bothered to use it since my ranger was lvl 10. I guess it depends on your build or playing style.

+1 rapid cancels out the gloves. keep it at one, you will like it much better. I keep barbed at one myself, with my dex build it does the same dmg as when I had a bunch of points in it. Keep steady aim, sharp shot, and light heal maxed for certain. then choose btwn defensive spikes, bolas, or any other skills that you like alot. But definetly do not put points in rapid.

Barb Shot is by far the worst skill i've come across. It's not even in the same league as rend and does very little damage in comparison!
