Rapid as dex build needs to stay at one

Rapid shot useless if u have heroic gloves.

+1 rapid cancels out the gloves. keep it at one, you will like it much better. I keep barbed at one myself, with my dex build it does the same dmg as when I had a bunch of points in it. Keep steady aim, sharp shot, and light heal maxed for certain. then choose btwn defensive spikes, bolas, or any other skills that you like alot. But definetly do not put points in rapid.

Napoli I don't think you are correct here. I have high Rapid Shot and always heroic gloves and counting the damage numbers it is fairly obvious they increase while Rapid is on. I ignore the animation as it can be misleading.

If you have low Rapid you might not have time to judge correctly.

Anyone agree or disagree, based on testing ?? I have been wrong before and its now a habit.

I have tested it for about 20 minutes against blue eyes. Yes, rapid is faster than gloves. But, 1) rapid costs energy and becomes an energy hog later as u max it, 2) it only lasts for so long, then you get this cooldown, which is as long or more so than when ur casting and using rapid, meaning that its not continuous, 3) gloves end up being faster than rapid because of the sheer cd alone. Against a ranger with almost the exact same dmg and health if you have gloves and they have maxed rapid, gloves will win in the end hands down. I did at one point have alot of pts in it, turns out I would have been better off keeping it at one from the start.
