I need help making a good DPS ranger. My stats are
Str: 300(311)
Dex: 110(241)
Focus: 10(56)
Vit: 110(131)
I am lvl 101 I use golden helm of severity, diamond bp and legs, heroic boots gloves and ammy, major wyrmfang, major wyrmtail, and a golden quiver of ice.

Replace these with DMG ones. At the level of your stats, you're pretty much done. Additional Str won't be adding that much more; adding more Dex will benefit your skills (light heal, sharp shot, etc), and Vit is for health.

Rangers are tricky, i have rebirth and alternated at least 20 times.
The ultimate dps which what i recently found is offhand blade plus diamond knucks,
However this is only effective when using heroic gloves+dps gear otherwise its useless.

More onto the purpose rangers are meant for (bows) for a great dps ranger i suggest no more than 300str. Anymore than that and its a complete waste.
What you also have to consider is the gear your using, if its solstice, earthstone ect then auto attacks are your strong point, if your using diamond or frozen skills are most important. A balanced between the two could be quite leathal also:)

What would you consider to be dps gear. Does my equipment cut it? Maybe I could trade bow and quiver for Knucks and golden ice blade

Dps gear would midsummer, solstice and earthstone breastplate and greaves. (This is because they add damage effectively increasing your dps).

Bracelets; Heat, ice and poison are a waste if bracelets. If a venom bracelet had 8 damage then it'll add 8 damage, however if a crush/slash/pierce had 8 damage it'll add around 40-60 damage.

Rings: Here we are looking (this is for offhand blade and knucks) for damage rings. Damage rings will be the fire fang rings ect; these can be obtained for Obby and aggragoth. These are the ones that add 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45 and 50 damage. Forget about royal and grand rings if you want to short distance dps.
Personally i use 3 damage rings and a grand light heal ring, light heal can come in handy for when a boss has cloak or when the tank needs a support heal.

Converting from normal frozen or meteoric gear and quiver to offhand blade an knucks is expensive. Just save up, dont swap your bow and quiver because you might not like the new style:)

Here's a total price, blade and knucks = 321k, dont forget this is your basis. You need a damage helm 150k which totals to 471k. Heroic gloves adding an additional 150k suming up to 621k.
621k is the basis of how much it'll cost (excluding the prices for dps gear, it varies on different servers). hope this helps:)
