Do not ever buy gold. Buy platinum items like super xp elixers and sell them. You will get way more gold that way.

Ok so should I just buy super Exp elexirs to use or to sell?

If you want to use them to level, then you can use them.
If you just are wanting gold it is best to sell platinum items like exp elixirs. You can sell other stuff like books of rebirth. I am not a platinum buyer but from what i hear the best things to get for yourself are backpack expansions or even extra hotbar spots or sigils.
So, if you just want to make gold sell plat items that other people need and if you want to help out your account buy backpack expansions and ect.
