Celtic Heroes

Im looking for some direction by rangers who has used spear and knuckle build.

Right now i use quartz spear, golden fire blade, heroic gloves, golden energy amulet and full warden. my stats are str 100(176), dex 115(116), foc 10(11), vit 170(171) and the skills i use is light heal, bandage wound, rapid shot all maxed and bolas at 16/20 . im coming close to lvl 80 and is wondering which weapon and what stats/skills will be more useful for the higher lvled mobs but also for solo leveling.

I wont be using bow at all for im making melee ranger.

Can some of you great rangers out there reply to this and say which is better...knuckles or spear and what stats/skills are best. Please justify your answer, Ty

knuckles for dps

knucks are better for dps. spear is one of the slowest weapons... numbers look nice but trust me its crap compared to knucks.

Unless you have a trident. Knucks are better.

One more question and that is should i have more dex or more str, with knuckles u have less dmg but its quick and i can do more dmg if i can hit more times. I just dont know which stat will be more useful and reliable :/

Dex build- think about never missing an attack... and remember your attacking 3 times to anyone else's one.
Str build- higher hits, but your missing more.

Up to you. I think it works either way, although when I used knucks for a bit I didn't change my build one whit (im a dex build) and they worked just fine- with a very low h2h ability as well I might add.
