I certainly do not want mages or rogues or any class nerfed at all , I just think ranger was left a bit behind in this update , hopefully we can get it resolved now and not in update 5 :p

I sure hope OTM is not just deleting negative posts since some offer real criticism, but rather they read this thread and try to get some better balance for our class.

OTM never deletes threads with criticism, provided that they are within the forum rules. What may be the case is that topics are in the wrong section, and so are moved elsewhere or merged with other topics that have the same content.

If you ever need help locating a topic, you can use the search bar or ask a moderator with the title of the post, who can tell you what happened to it.

and rangers have a free camo charm as a skill as well.

Last update rangers were already the worst dps class and we complained about it, and now, its even made worse.
I hope something will change soon, because as said, rangers have some nice skills but only when they are maxed. A dps boost would be very very nice, and please make light heal heal its normal hp in PvP!

Mages didn't get any boost. Those 8k skill hits take a loong time to recharge so the DPS isn't that great. Also they probably have 50/35 points into it an 1000+ focus.

My mage gets out dps'd by rogues all the time now. Now I wonder how many of the beta testers *cough* avalon *couogh* were rogues?

Have you not been playing since update or something ? Mages are destroying every class with dps , it's not even close .

Now to the op , I couldn't agree more . I wouldn't even mind being a secondary dps if our support skills were good enough but sadly they are second rate . Sure sharpen weapons is decent but remember it's pierce damage so it is highly resisted it does not come close to poison weapon as far as total dps . I have not used steady much in live game but lasti had checked in beta it wasn't nerfed although I could certainly be wrong about that . Defensive spikes and sharpen weapons would be great support skills if rangers had assassins lure lol it's messed up that to be a great support toon we need another support toon to make it possible. In be tai also recommended rapid shot be made an aoe group skill , this would help tremendously with making rangers a better support player .

Currently there is a lack of balance between the classes , I have faith that otm will make adjustments .

What skills are mages using to destroy everyone in DPS?

I'm pretty sure none of the skills have a higher true dps than shards or firebolt...
