hey guys, i'm a fairly new ranger and have just hit level 80.
my stats are:
strength 340
dexterity 55
focus 10
vitality 20

(i know im probably the worst built ranger to date )

im just wondering what would be the best gear for me to use?
before level 80 i was using full regens (lux shop) gloves of haste, boots of speed, (regen helm, cant remember name) lesser solstice bp and greaves. (others arent worth mentioning)
the moment i hit level 80 i replaced my health regen helm with a greater earthstone helm and my health regen bracelet with a greater earthstone bracelet.
was this a good idea at all or is there better options ?

any help is greatly appreciated.

#1 you need alot more vit.....
#2 you need alot more dex...
#3 you need alot more knowledge.....
#4 find and ask Eliminator what do to now.....
#5 Do NOT have it at 20 vit.... You will die in one hit later lvls...

pathetic? You're the one with the worst build in history of CH.

While it seems as if you are not getting the answers you wanted OP, what did you really expect? And before you get annoyed with me, I'll tell you why these guys are all giving you nothing to work with.

1. Primrose has a ranger primer/guide just a few threads down from this one. It discusses the 3 builds, when to use them, which skills compliment the build, and even a general idea of how to stat. While this is from Update 3, it's a worthwhile read and will answer your question about stats. (OP notes that guide will be updated for game Version 4 soon.)

2. No 2 rangers that I know have exactly the same stats. Even if they vary by 10-30 here and there, they are not the same.

3. No one except you knows your play style. I've tried other ranger's builds that I've seen posted or been told about. Honestly though, I've found that a little trial and error has given me the builds that have worked best for me across the levels.

Put in a little work and find the build that works the best for you, not someone else because their build might be wrong for your character.
