Why is it every time a Spear build question is asked on the Ranger forum there has to so many "just use Bow" replies ??

Sometimes people use a Spear for a while:

Just for a change
Because they get a great spear
Because they are levelling in a crowded area and dont mind using Restos to get the most out of their Elix or Combo.
Because they have an item that boosts a melee skill they want to try

Or just because. It seems a little dismissive for every thread to have these off topic posts...without fail.

To me its obvious a Bow is mostly better for a Ranger but i enjoy having Spear and Knucks build discussed without the noise.


Or is this opinion trying to control the Bowssessives?

Bowssessives, thats it. and i'll always suggest bows over spears.

I personally love spear. I leveled with spear from 155-191. If you ever need any advice or question about builds pm me. Spear dps > Bow dps...all day.

+1 im on my way there Vylen went from 150-160 with spear build so far
