As the title says, i'm fairly new to this game and I'm leveling via grinding and I don't know where to buy better gear.

Yes so you should keep on grinding away at nothingness. Good armour is ancient lamellar. Could be used till lvl 85 (full warden armour), or if you really want to save gold then lvl 105 (full warden-full meteoric).

Okay, sorry but first I would like to say a few things to some of the previous posters on this topic.

1. If someone asks for help, don't give them sarcastic advice that doesn't even help them. If that's what you are doing, just stop the post because all it does is tear down people. The forums are designed so that more experienced players can help the newer ones by building them up through giving them advice.
2. If your going to be obnoxious... just don't its not a good idea. Also if your trying to help actually help people don't give them irrelevant advice.

All right so to get down to business... As your level 42 or beyond I would also suggest ancient lamellar armor which is found in Stonevale, in the village. I would advise buying it from other players, and I would also advise you buying only the shirt and pants, as they give you the most armor, are often the hardest pieces to aquire via warden/mete/etc., and can normally both be bought from other players for around 10k (this is a deal but its not so uncommon).

A great place to advertise that your buying this would be castle, or wherever your training at the time (42 should be in shalemont). Don't forget to keep your eyes peeled for good deals!

Although you will likely get your warden right on time (mostly via your clan if your in one), ancient lamellar can be nicely effective until the early 100s (by level 118-120 you will definitely need something better). Once you hit level 60 try to concentrate on getting your warden armor, from the wardens in lirs reach at the stone circle.
