Ideas for Entangle

entangle is not really usefull in pvp, but someone who uses skills can just use three skills on a ranger
rogue, shadow, quick etc
warrior, double hit, rupture, swing etc
casters are not even affected
other rangers Sharp double shot etc

Would you agree that entangle should prevent skills from happening for a short time like 5 secs or slow down skills as well as autos for a longer time as it would be hard casting or using a skill while in a net

this would also help in boss situations further allowing for rangers to take a support role

if you agree with this or have any ideas to improve entangle or think its fine the way it is please comment

I think that this is a good idea although it shouldn't just 'stop' the casting of skills for a periodical time. Maybe it should stop the skills and auto's cast time by the percentage that it states on the page, e.g. 50%. Although at the moment I find that entangle is not as useful as it should be and barely hinders the amount of damage output from opposing mobs so it needs to be tweaked.
Although I dislike the idea of a skill being tweaked for pvp purposes, (I know you don't want it done purely for pvp, im just stating this anyways) as pvp is an entertaining portion of this game and people take it too seriously.

I find it fairly useful in pvp. It slows down the cast time of skills and slows auto attacks which works brilliantly against warriors and rangers. Against rogues not so much due to instant cast skills. In PvE it doesnt seem like it but it does indeed work. Visually it is bugged and mobs will still look like they are attacking at the same speed. This was reported last update and OTM has acknowledged that they were looking into it but it still has not changed. Overall I find entangle to be a useful skill. The only thing I would like changed is to lower the cooldown on it so entangle can be cast on a mob indefinitely (like bolas).

+1 to the cooldown, although I still do think that the actual slow should be a little stronger for it to be more effective.

This is what would really improve entangled, and to perhaps minorly slow down the casting of skills or to make the cd of skills longer, now that would be a new essential bossing skill for ya!

entangle is a great skill, mostly for pve, dont ask to change it if u dont know how to use it
