New Ranger Skills Suggestions

I've been playing this ranger skill for a very long time and was never satisfied with the skills we got.

Skills for end game rangers were so bad that we decided to go auto attack build.

If OTM wants to save the ranger tradition i have an idea for a skill, and you all may post your ideas here.

-Armour Piercing Shots: The more points in it, the more shots you fire, you shoot arrows that ignore portions of the enemy's armour. STR based.

-Ice/Fire/Magic Buff: this buff allows you to do more ice/fire/magic dmg (3 diff skills) on a Mob and has a chance of burning it/freezing it/or stunning it for X amount seconds

There are many more ideas just waiting to be applied in game.

Or they can also upgrade the damage of some skills barbed shot(last too long for lvling),explosive arrow (this skill is a pure joke),sharp shot(if you are not pure dex it hit the same as your auto hit) defense spike...
Even with my godly ring+10 the dmg of the defence spikes is less good than a 1mil spectral ammy.

I will like to see a skill who reduce the piercing resistance (same as lure of assassin)

Sharpshot doesnt even do decent damage when i was using it with a pure dex build

I totally agree with original poster (im lvl 189ranger - playing since game was released)

I dont really care what skills they make, but make ones that do more dmg then auto attack for christs sake.

Useless/semi useless ranger skills include:

Barbed: i wouldnt be too upset if this "poison dmg " didnt get 65% resisted. Dmg of lvl 50 barbed shot with 1100 dex: 4500 on skill page - actual: ~250-350 per tick (can u say lame). At the very least make it cast quicker.

Conceal : no explanation needed

Def spikes: i have a BOW. Why doed this spell even exist? Besides the fact its dmg is pitiful, my whole plan of attack is to not get hit or meleed while fighting, wtf otm.

Explosive arrow: it couod be okay if lvl 50 version didnt require ~500 energy per cast (srsly), for the same dmg as equivalent sharp shot lvl (a skill which others complain about anyway with only 166 energy cost). Also cast time is outrageous. Auto ranger can get off 4 shotd while u wait for your cast button to revolve.

Light heal : Almost worthlessif you have alot of sigils, as we all know heal now puts you in combat since that fatefull day. At least before that combat patch you could heal and sigil after in a few seconds. The one good thing shout rangers, completely ruined in one otm hand swipe. And before the rants start , im not saying lh is useless , it just used to he so much better, i find myself reminiscing of the past constantly.

I cant think anymore as my brain is fried, but this shouls cover alot

Oh, and the worst part about all these skills, is still use some of them. Why? Because its the best of many evils, which is an utterly sad thing. Your supposed to have OPTIONS IN A GAME. Not obvious choices between average and most sucky.

I agree with all of this except defensive spikes- it has the makings of a good skill for those of us who don't use bolas. Even so its dmg is now crap... please fix this skill OTM...
