Hi Everyone,

I am nearing lvl 105 and I am starting to gather the pieces for my meteoric bow and last piece of lunar (chest). My plan is to switch gears to do some farming after finishing these quests. I would like to get some money for a damage charm, or some upgraded bracelets/rings.

Right now for farming, I generally kill pirates for coins or hawkhursts for the occasional chest and stonevale bosses. I find this to be more steady and higher reward than the connacht camps that were so great 20 levels ago. My question is in the use of explosive arrow or other skills that can aid with farming.

Does anyone have any idea how much damage explosive arrow offers at 25/25 or 30/30 along with energy cost? Gathering connachts in camp or pirates and using explosive arrow in a similar manner to gathering mobs for a rogue riposte may prove to speed up farming.

Any suggestions?

Well I would suggest a few skills for farming in addition to possibly explosive arrow. However, as I have no experience with the skill maxed, I will not be able to answer your main question.

I would suggest using:

Light heal
sharp shot (if your dex build, if your ss is lower than your auto get sharpen/steady aim instead)
Defensive spikes (yes this skill might suck for general purposes BUT can be extremely useful if you have multiple mobs attacking you esp. if they are lower in level)
Perhaps longshot, but as an extra. If you want it to be higher use some rings for it- but this skill is for 1v1 farming, not mass farming like you want to do.

Keep in mind that explosive arrow is extremely high in energy cost, and you need to already have some real good energy regen in order for you to constantly keep up your dps. If your having trouble with energy just go with buffs (defensive spikes, steady aim, and sharpen) and light heal, which is a MUST for any farming. Of the buffs I would go with defensive spikes and then either sharpen or steady aim.

A little after you hit 112-113 farming becomes more worth it, until then training is the fastest way to amass riches. That said I too farmed the Connacht for a while to get my first big lux. Good luck!

Explosive arrow is crap.. it does a pretty low damage and it sucks ur energy. Go to more bossfights with ur clan. Some bosses can drop 1k gold for one kill. Some more and some less, but otherwise good gold.

I dont think massing is too much of a time saver since they have to respawn regardless of how many you kill at one time. As far as explosive arrow goes, it's not that great. I find that, for me, steady aim and sharpen weapon and auto attack is the best.

Not bad advice, from you and other posters. That said clans don't go on bossfights very often. It is better to be able to go from one room to the next to the next then repeat if your doing mass farming, which can amass in 500+ gold per room depending on where your farming and if you have the lvls, dmg, and stats to do it.

I would also have a mage friend cast fire cloak on you, as that can help a lot, even without a fire lure.

The best place to farm would be pirates. I managed to earn 10-15kish in an hour and then selling the drops and items i received from the pirates i received another 5k so about 20k in total.

For pirates its advised 90-100+ to farm them.

Yeah.. usually for people 100+ farm there.. but for low levels, shalemont would do fine along with the catacombs.
