Sharpshot becomes a liability 160 onwards.

Better to go full STR at 160 when you have 2+ pieces of dl gear.

Sharp shot is terrible, not worth the points.

Hmm okay, I don't think it's that helpfull etc. But i've never used it

I dropped SShot at lvl 114 with 220 str 220 dex and 250 vit I am using longshot bolas doubleshot lheal and sharpen weapons. I found that sharp shot was not worth the time or the resists to keep. My solo leveling is much smoother, the Lshot and Dshot recast times sync well with each other and rapid at 1, giving nice dps in between autos.

Entangle was great for me when my regen was poor 90-105 or so. Ive added some regen and sigils, Bolas is working very well for constant lvl 120 * boggan killing at level 115. I think I will keep the bolas and leave sharp shot dropped for as long as I can!

I tried using sharp shot at level 190. With my +9 Sharp Shot ring and 950 dex it had a maximum of 3900, not bad right? Well when I miss half the time it can be disappointing, but not that bad right? Wrong, despite the 3900 on skills page, it was rarely hitting above 2k with my auto being 1.1-1.3k. Really not worth the 40 points and energy.

Kendrill does solo lvl on occasion but is very much not an outcast. She is full dex, and her light heal is insane. I've seen her in action and the entangle skill helps to take much less damage. So between that skill and a kick arse heal, restos are almost not needed and you can keep your vit way low. I used entangle when I was dex and it worked very well for solo lvling. The only problem I saw was that it didn't do much for boss fighting and would rarely stick.
Once I went to Str ranger, I dropped entangle.
So I agree very much with Ken, if DEX then Sharpshot and entangle are very helpful. If Str, drop them both for more useful skills.

That's interesting. I know that I have always preferred to deal dmg out through dex based skills but entangled might still be good to look into.
