Rogues were always meant to be a dps lower than rangers. They are the trickster class who kill their enemy without losing much hp while rangers are the superior dps class(to rogues) that kill their enemy fast from a distant. This is the class roles in nearly all mmo's, however it is not what happens in ch.

You have proof to back this up? Mmos do not have any set "standards" they have to follow, otm could make rogues ranged with throwing knives if they wanted.

Anyway, rangers and rogues are mirror classes. If they weren't mirror classes they shouldn't have the same gear, armor, bonuses, etc.

i woudont call it mirror... they have diferent weapons with diferent damage and diferent range attacks

My thing is if we have such crappy autos and skills compared to another class what's the point of my char? Other than necro of course. I mean come on a Druid can out dps me? Like get out of here. OTM seriously should return Rangers to the way we were. Another point, if I'm up against a rogue my lvl with no DL compared to my full DL im still gonna lose because rogues have instacast skills where as rangers have sharp unfathomable dbl which has a cast time and long shot also having a cast time. You know for a "dps" class we are the laughing stock of all the classes.

200 spider is a completely different story considering it has crazy pierce resist... that's still impressive though

Im a 191 warrior who can outdps 200 rogues on spider, same for 190 druids and idk about mages. Spider has broken resists, not even an example.
