Hey all, so I'm trying to figure out which to use between the two mentioned in the title

Now, if you take the speed of the bows, multiply it by .3 (for haste) subtract that number from original speed, and divide that by the damage, it gives you a rough estimate of how much dps the bow its self does. The lower the number the higher the dps, FYI

The lizard king has a damage 'rating' of 33.6 vs the Opal bow at 32.7

.9 difference is still a noticable difference.
My question is this - is the direct longshot damage added by the lizard king enough to make it more dps, or no?
Also, the Opal bow adds 100 bow, whereas the lizard king adds 100 ranged combat, so skills would do more damage.

What are your thoughts?

There's not that much of a difference but if u are not that rich and got lizard king from the boss choose that it then saves money but if ur rich you'd elix through those lvls like crazy so wouldn't be a problem

Doesnt matter, got lizard king ? Save ur money for next bow. 100 bows is better than 100 ranged combat btw.

Sorry, I was having a trashy day. Also, I know nothing about ranger so I don't know why I'm even on this part of the forums.
Think of the number that he put up as a rating instead of an actual DPS number. It's kind of like speed. The lower the number better.

So a lower rating means better dps, like how a lower speed also means better dps.
