My bracelets are Major Wyrmfang and Major Wyrmscale. They are just what the clan had on hand. I'll work towards getting a pierce brace.

As to the bow, I was working towards Warden because I heard that the Frozen bow was the best there is? And I figured I might as well start on that road. But maybe I'll get a diamond in the meantime... Any idea how much it would be around to buy one from another player? Massive amounts of gold are not my strong point. He he.

Nice bracelets. I would advise you to keep (if you have of course) the strength, dex, vit one. if neither have those, then you have to choose between strength and dex. Sounds good.

Frozen bow is the best there is. But heres how it works. The bows in order of dps: warden, quartz, meteoric, diamond, frozen. After you get warden you have to get meteoric (which can take 3 weeks or more to get... ). After you get meteoric you cannot get the frozen bow quest until you turn level 125. After that you must find all of the items that the frozen bow requires... which can also be arduous and or quite expensive. Instead, you can just get the diamond bow (diamond bows normally sell for 50k- at least on morrigan) which is the second best bow in game at the moment. HINT: buy from another player for that price. Diamond bows are 70k in shop- last time I checked anyway. To buy a warden bow is far worse... your talking more like 70-80k easy.

To solve the gold problem just level. If you spend a whole day doing that at your level (on eyes of course) you should be able to make 7-10k easily enough. Who knows... you might be able to get even more.

Hmm i dont believe steady aim helps at all particularly. And is defensive spikes any good i have the skill and havent used it at all. Btw dont ever upgrade conceal! Waste of points unless your bored.

That makes no sense frozen bow doesn't do ice damage just pierce , the quiver you use depends on 2 things the mobs your fighting and if a Mage is luring the mobs .

Ice is better. not only the damage, but the fire resist is great. Some say magic but its cheaper to get a one shot quiver that's good for everything than to get magic and then have to get ice later.

Alpha:

No it doesn't depend on that. It only depends on the mobs your fighting. Also mages are more likely to have ice lure than magic lure.

Honestly it depends but most rangers can't be bothered with them .

Damage is fairly low but on fast hitting bosses it adds up , also if nuck or spear ranger there are not many other skills to use . If you level with a Mage casting assassins lure spikes are decent . The real problem with defensive spikes is the spell does not last long , only 60 seconds , if spikes lasted 120 seconds it would be a much stronger skill .

Spikes is in my opinion the coolest animation in the game .
