I have a lvl 4 ranger, do i qualify?

Lol no. And im not trying to make then quit there rangers lol. Just asking whether they think its worthwhile or not.

I had quit for a while, back now and still playing ranger. . .it can be frustrating that the class seems to lag so far behind when compared to other classes, and there are alot of times I don't enjoy being a ranger main. Ranger is good for a couple things though, and hopefully *crosses fingers* they'll eventually make us more useful in other ways, or i'll find a more effective way of playing it. I'm currently leveling alts, gives me a break from ranger and I'm enjoying them more than my main.

A little bit of encouragement for you is that once you get full dragonlord armor and the bow your DPS increases very very substantially. Our highest ranger went from hating the game due to solo woes to grinding like a machine, he claims his xp about doubled from the damage bonuses he got with the armor/weapon. Hang in there rangers, you're needed and appreciated.

As I said in a previous topic, ranger is the most versitile class. Skill dps is getting good.

Wow yeah rangers are one of the best classes IMO. Bolas for bosses is a must. Tank gets in trouble he can walk away for a bit while druids catch his heal up, or while rangers catch his health up. Our light heal, druids keep the tank alive during the fight, we keep the druids alive during the fight. Adds quickly drop when the rangers switch targets and pepper them with arrows. Sharpen weapon, we can boost the dmg of all the melee classes and ourselves. Plus the dmg skills we have are very nice. And for solo leveling its super easy. What other class besides a druid can kill stuff without taking a hit? But with the right build you don't even need to use bolas while leveling, i have it maxed for when a boss is called. But at 170 i can take a 2 star 175 with longshot, sharpshot, double shot, auto, sharp, double, light heal. Repeat till dead. Its a quicker kill then throwing bolas at the start. But add that bola at the start and you don't need the heal. All being said i believe rangers are the most balanced well rounded class in the game, and a must have for boss fights.

Its get rough and discouraging sometimes playing a ranger but in the end I'm sure it'll work out. I love my ranger to much to quit him.

I'm lvl 135 now, and I've found it easier to solo lvl since update. Working 2 jobs leaves me very little time to play, so I've gone clan less and mainly solo my way up.
I gave up on bows a long time ago, and wish I'd done that long before I did.
I've played every class, and my ranger is still the best class to play on.

I made a mage got to 115 to lvl with my 125 ranger. Then update came and i cant use 2nd gen ipod. FML rofl
