I used adamant from lvl 120 to lvl 135 when i got frozen bow... Adamant was borrowed so i gave it back and used frozen.

My damage per second went down by 15-20%. My xp per lix was ruined.

Adamant is 90k in store to buy, its alooot better than frozen... Why the hell would you use meteoric over it? Bad idea.

Imo none of the quest bows are actually worth the effort, except for the dragonlord bow.

Bear in mind i was pretty well geared when i levelled... Had the lvl 100 quiver, used radiant dps ammy and a bloodlust to level with at those levels...


The dps increase however when i got the 160 bow made struggling from 135-160 with a clairvoyant frozen bow totally worth it!

In your situation, met is better for you.

But imo adamant is way better. Speed should not be a concern during training because of the haste elixers.

even 100 attack speed is a lot, but on the dmg difference vs speed difference between met and adamant, i think dmg difference is higher, go with adamant.

But, its also matter of gear, if u got a lot of dmg gear go with the speed (aka met bow), also if ur using both steady and sharpen while having higher dex than str
double shot will be pretty powerful with adamant bow, also higher attack which matters, as for being a mid lvl i guess u prob dont have lots of dmg gear (divine dmg doesnt count for lvling) so go with the adamant

I have a lot of dex and pretty low str. I have a haste ring also.. so if i used a mete bow then my attk speed would be 1960 and if used adamant then it would be 2275. Also i don't have any dmg equipment, mostly regen. I also have lvl 100 quiver.

Okay okay here everyone let me clarify:

IF you use haste lixs to level get the highest dmg weapon with the slowest speed and youll be awesome.

IF HOWEVER you don't want to use lixs to level, including haste, use the mete then froz bows til level 160 bone bow.

I always give my answers based off of non lixing unless specified by the OP. This is my answer to both camps. lol

Damage gap? yes. DPS gap? nope. Yeah frozen does good dps.

In this case adamant would be better because ur dex build up if u had str build mete bow would make up the dmg lost from adamant and since but if u had the Samhain lux and dmg gear of course mete would be better

I think an important point to make here is this: The Meteoric Bow is free. The Adamant Bow is not.

In a time where we buy all our quest pieces, we sometimes forget that we don't have to!

You do not need a big clan, lots off friends or a lvl 190 warrior brother to find people in the respective zones and ask them if they are interested in killing copper, or helping with a *edit* priestess kill.

Spend your money on things that are not free, like a haste ring.

I think an important point to make here is this: The Meteoric Bow is free. The Adamant Bow is not.
