Rangers autos need to be debuffed and his Dex skills need to get buffed up, turn sharpshot into poison and remove longshot distance requirement, + add dmg boosts, barbed should become Insta cast and deal x2 dmg it does now, auto ranger is a stupid build and it's so sad that it works when it shouldnt

While we r on the subject of debuffing rangers autos why don't u suggest that rangers get a light heal debuff and also rapid shot, sharpen weapons and steady aim debuff???
Stop making stupid suggestions. If u want more challenging game exp just go with all gear unequipped.

EDIT : If OTM debuff rangers auto a lot of ppl will be angry and many will quit (myself included).
Why? Couse those ppl invested time and money to get that dps/auto build gear they have and if OTM debuff auto and force rangers go dex build(which need absolutely diff gear) that would mean that the spent their money and time in vain.

I agree acid, if autos get debuffed i will quit playing as well. It's not exactly the most fun class from 140+ because your not mashing skill buttons. but hey we play a roll

Dex build is the build that was designed for rangers, it makes sense to nerf the auto build and buff the Dex build so Rangers can actually be used for there intended purpose

and destroy the str build? Rangers have high pierce and make use of it by pumping str at the cost of skill damage. That is intended and fair. Makes no sense to nerf the auto, its the decision of the player if he wants to pump dex for skill damage. Thats the problem, no one does because skill builds are crap from 120+. Rangers should have the option to go dex/str/hybrid which are actually viable.

There is no argument here - we don't want to be forced with ANY build. Str or dex.

Why nerf the str build though? If Str build works as a decent build for rangers now, why not just increase the ability to play ranger as dex build and give dex builds a boost.

If you are playing as dex build your auto's are going to hurt because your points and equipment are boosting the power of skills and the stat dexterity.

Because str is just a stupid build, I can't see why otm would want it to work like that, where a ranger literally has to put in no effort to get kills, cast steady and sharpen every 2min
