Im sorry but u r wrong - ghosts have high pierce resistance. Just go kill a ghost and then go kill a kelpie with same lvl and stars and u will see a major diff in dmg.
And I personally prefer high auto with sharpen and steady + double and 20 sec rapid and a haste ring instead of the broken skills we have.

Kelpie's are also low pierce resist... and also lower level.. thus lower pierce resist...derp
Try adding longshot to your ensemble it's quite useful.

Im not here to argue. I said same lvl mobs. And longshot is no good skill for str build -evaded a lot, uses lots of energy, does less than my double and its totally unusable in bogan rooms.

As a ranger, find a fire mage lixing partner for trees, kelpies have low pierce resists and great exp.

I second the mage lixing partner. If the mage has lure of assassins - even better.

Ghosts were gold for my druid and my favorite place to lix and level at. However, I did not have the same results with my ranger at ghosts and found it far more useful to do the black stones. This is where I got rid of longshot and went str auto build as I found I could hit 3 autos and do more damage by the time I hit with longshot. And the black stones are pretty tightly packed in. I did find I liked entangle in this area though. So I dropped bolas for entangle and went sharpen and steady. Bolas and long shot felt so slow to me.

At lvl 120, I was getting between a half and 3/4 of a lvl per lix, specially with heroic haste.

Mage with pierce lure is good so is warrior with shatter

How long ago ? Cause I do pretty much the same thing now after I realized the wraiths werent good for much I got 1.5 bars per lix. Now I level at blackstones I have someone power level me and I have good lux and all (srt build) I get 3 bars per lix not half a level help! I don't use heroic hastes since I have a haste ring and I maxed out my rapid shot

Do Blackstone if ur like 118-120+... arent u like 115 right now? If so u should stick to trees for a bit longer

My ranger is 168 right now. Took a lvling hiatus to get druid to 180.

I much prefer the heroic haste as it's a consistent 60 percent increase in attack speed. Rapid shot doesn't last very long and the cool down is horrendous. My rapid shot is at 1 for pvp purposes only. My haste ring is equipped for boss fights.

I'm not a solo leveler as I find lixing more than 2 solo incredibly boring. Currently I duo with a warrior or rogue or trio with another ranger and rogue or warrior.

All my points are in str and vit and my dex and focus comes from gear. I'm trying to obtain more obsidian bows and physical damage gear as the damage is multiplied by strength. Although the obsidian bow is super slow, it's not bad on a heroic haste and gives me a 2.2k damage stat. It's cool to see the damage done with double shot with a damage stat that high.
