those of you with bare minimum dex... don't you miss and get dodged / parried a lot?

Zum, I only use 7 skills. They are: Steady Aim, Rapid Shot, Light Heal, Bolas, Sharp Shot, Barbed Shot and Bandage Wounds (I only use Bandage Wounds when I am healing the tanks in a boss fight) If I remember correctly, all the skills I named are fully upgraded.

Now to answer your question. Steady Aim is the skill I always use before I attack. Why? 1. It increases you chance to hit, 2. It increases your damage. With that said, I will now tell you that, on an average, I miss once out of 7 shots. My dexterity is currently set at 10 skill points. Once I get full Meteoric armour, I'm setting everything to 5 and topping strength. But that doesn't mean I'm going to run around wearing Meteoric all the time. I'm going to be wearing: Heroic Amulet of Rejuvenation, Golden Quiver of Rejuvenation, Meteoric cuirass, Meteoric greaves, Heroic gloves of Haste, Heroic boots of Speed, (I'm not sure of which I'll wear yet, it depends which adds more damage/attack) Bloodlust helm or Meteoric helm and I'll occasionally switch between Meteoric bow and Winterking bow.

Well, I have a lvl 72 Ranger wihich has high dex compared to my other stats.
Strength: 110
Dex: 140
Focus: 20 (soon I will be getting Golden Quiver of Rejuv and few more so focus doesnt need any worrying)
Vit: 110

I suggest you have at least good Str and Dex.

I had 18% str 42% dex and 40% vit

Personally I don't like sharing stats (because I change them often).
Anyway This is a hybrid build.
- Enough str to deal damage during boss fights or pvp.
- enough dex to heal high and deal decent skill damage (skill damage should be higher then auto imo) while taking advantage of okay chance to block/dodge/miss/parry.
- enough vit to survive in pvp against all classes at your level (tested), enough to buy 1-5 second idols time for others to res during boss fights.
Dex should be higher then anything else. The devs force us to use it.. Might as well abuse it.
This is my most used stat.

They're equipped with heroic ammy, haste gloves, speed boots, golden quiver of ice, golden helmet of sevenity (ice) and a energy regen charm.
this build is great for solo/support player or a quick pvp here and there (withouth having to keep changing everytime).

Or,

More aggressive stats.. 50% str 50% hp
- Build for quick arena battle as a group.
- enough str to assist your grp to deal damage.
- enough health for you to bolas > run > heal (survivability).
This build mostly for high end players, use it when get bored when solo scouting or stay dps (ish) to help your clan taken down bosses quicker.

With dex you can heal alot with light heal ATM my light heal is 25/25 and it heals 330hp and I dodge 40% of all hits but I only have 969hp and do 120-270 damage 

Playstyle revolves on Bolas and Rapid Shot, as I can't really stand toe-to-toe with mobs with my <800 health lol. Sharp Shot, 20/20 does about (observed max actual) 320 on red eyes. Autos (observed max actual) do about 270.

As of now 75-60-50-270. Strength and Dexterity are only that high to equip the Ice King bow and Connacht items. They used to be at 50 each.
