Yes but not cream of the crop at that level. Its more of a replacement if you are having difficulties getting warden/mete bow(s).

Tank is basically dex build. Just sayin but it is. maybe just stickin with the 2 vit per lvl rule but its still funsies. Support might also be put under dex build however most dex builds have more vit (I would hope) than a pure support build.

About Support Ranger: I've read on previous posts the build of these. It is very useful while on a raid:

Lightheal - max
Entangle - max
Conceal - max
Sharpen Or Bolas - max

It is used to apply camo effect on druids and support mages, reduce attack speed on boss, help healing, apply sharpen on attacking party and help kiting.

In fact I like the idea of support ranger since the main dmg will be dealt by rogues.

The stats are heavy dex and high vit to survive an aoe, and you just go by autoattacking (though without elemental dmg would be pretty low dps).

On a side note. It is tempting to go spear ranger D:

Yes. Oui suggested camo and I am planning to use it in the future.

Yes. Spear rangers look as if they can deal massive damage and I am planning to switch over once I hit 120 to get adamant.
