I don't care what gear you have, there's no way you're going to beat a fully geared, skill spamming rogue of the same level on a mordy kill if you compete.

Wasn't Eliminater - Ranger, first to kill Necro?

The AoE on it is avoided if the player is far enough, from what I understand.

I think the purpose of the class is this one: We have different traits from all the classes, but at a lower strength, other classes have strong points but weak points. We have intermediate on all.

Which quite frankly sucks. We have all the other classes to excel in those things, so why do we even need rangers? OTM, I would really like to see Rangers get back on the train of epic dps.

I hate to betray you all as a ranger but....you do know that all druid's powers come from skills...right? And we all know skills miss and they miss a lot...right?

Stre build ranger, has reliable dps, but say, a druid misses bees AND vines and only does lightening? Well then their screwed. Like or not it happens a lot.




Although, rangers are treated like crap until full DL? Well unfathomable I went through hell to get full DL and I admit it is fun now but I forgot why I didn't quit on the way there. Maybe it was because I remembered all the good ole days and that kept me going? Or maybe it was hope for the good things ahead?

At least vit or hybrid warriors with full DL do not out dps me anymore. =_= Maybe I can compete with a dps warrior if we both were on haste lixes. Maybe not though. I do admit though that he has much better lux than me and I have the "basics" but he isn't that good.

Lets see we have ranger's suckiness vs druid's top dps and top heal. energy vs proficiency (most of the time) But while I conclude this, druids survivability is not guaranteed because they can be interrupted and they can miss. Even a dex ranger at least does autos.

My only complaint is that it seems to me that druid's are widely more accepted in a rogue's group than a ranger for some odd reason. I have a hard time leveling because no one likes rangers to group.

We're only good for bolas. People usually get annoyed when I tell them I don't use bolas cause I'm a spear ranger.
