Midnight gives more constant damage while wyld gives a certain amount of damage each (45?) Secs. Midnight beats wyld for rangers. However im not sure about stargem as ive yet to experience a stargem set.

Stargem gives more dmg than midnight + str/dex.

The stargem is constant dmg and 50 more str. The Wyld sun requires you be in melee range.

Stargem 120 damage 200 str, it adds around 120 consistent damage to your auto. The wyld ammy adds 30 damage or so through the 150 str so it's about a shot every 2 seconds, the wyld skill does 1.5-3k damage which makes up for the lost damage, but wyld also gives boosts to steady aim and sharpen weps through the dex and also more attack which results in more autos hitting. The 1k hp in the wyld ammy means at level 175 my ranger Dosent have to use any Vit contributing more to str which means even extra damage

Midnight versus wyld is a joke, if you think midnight is better than wyld you don't play ranger...

Huh?? Did u mean that on average u will hit 120 or will just add 120? Its a shame that they cant make the wyld skill's range based on weapon range, so u can hit from afar with a bow and melee range with dagger, or the slightly larger range with spear (or else it gets delayed). Pretty much ruins all the point of 'avoiding aoes' doesnt it?

For bossing easy choice for me, stargem>wyld>midnight. Wyld wins if were talking about rogues only

Yes the 120 damage and 200 str overall adds 100-120 damage to auto while attacking, it's more on the stat page ofcourse.

I agree otm should base the wyld skill range on the weapon range, would be a nice addition

my post was on rangers up to lvl 150, the only reason why i said midnight is because its the best untill lvl 150.

Only poison garanak is a must over stargem, otherwise stargem is better than heat, magic or cold sets, if you can get a decent charm.
