I just feel like I'm gonna see that my strength is sitting at 200 and even if I'm hitting OK it's gonna feel weak because I can see that I barely have any stats put into it... If that makes sense :/

It does. Make your build how you seem fit, and do small adjustments (tests) while doing it ;)

I'm sorry, but that makes absolutely no sense. The return on stats is why we put points into them. If your return is poor after a certain number of points, what difference does it make if you had OVER 9000(!!) strength? People ask me all the time when they see my autos "What's your STR?!" I respond 200 and they say "What?! How is that possible?" Their next question is inevitably, "How do you have so much HP?" If you are looking for a build that makes sense with lots of auto damage, I recommend getting over the sticker shock of low STR.

If you said that having 68 damage was more important to you than the extra DEX or HP then I completely understand, but to have more STR for the sake of "feeling" that it is enough is just silly.

I'm a human being... I HAVE FEELINGS. I know what you're saying but I'm weird lol
I understand. The more the better right? 900 is obviously better than 200. Lol.

I learned something new about strength and damage that I had not considered before. Your return in damage for the points you put in is entirely scalable to weapon damage and weapon ability. Therefore, the more levels you have, the higher your ability and the more damage on your weapon, the higher your return will be on points in strength.

At my level, with a wyrm bow, my return on STR 200-300 is about 40 damage. This could be much higher for someone with a better bow and higher abilities.

So basically, your return will be higher on strength with the more levels you get and the more damage you have on your bow. Around my level (145) I still think that STR at 200 is sufficient and more is a waste of points, but that could be very different for you!

Ok I think I get the general idea of what you're trying to say... But I'm not too keen on math so any help would be greatly appreciated. Right now I've got 300 base points dumped into str an 370 with gear. My bow ability is 2,411 and I've got a wyrmbone bow. Would I be better off at 200 strength?
