It's true beta is hard to get into. I just applied my self and even as a high lvl it's very tough to get in.
Keep your heads high though and hope for next time XD
Re: Who will be our ranger testers?
#52Ok lets think about this level 80 dude realistically for a second. He applied in DECEMBER.. now either he hasnt levelled at all in two months or he wad level 1 when he applied. Obviously we will no be represented well at all because this guy has not experienced skill above level 20, he has not ever trained in the otherworld (maybe killed one or two eyes), he has not gotten frozen armor to see where it needs improving.
Now the positives. It will give lower level representation within the game. Thats all I can think of.
I'm sorry I do not want to seem like a jerk but I care about my gaming experience. It would be fine and dandy to have a level 80 ranger as beta if an experienced ranger was in the beta as well. I obviously do not know the applicant and I admit I am posting on stereotypes and bias.

Re: Who will be our ranger testers?
#53Lol? 1 or 2 eyes? For the last time...get over the fact that you didn't make it. The positives are equal to the so-called 'negatives'. Lower level representation also means testing all the lower level stuff. I don't care what anyone else says, but tbh all of you higher levels probably sped past your levels on elixers stacked on lux. The only reason I don't level my rogue is because I like to make alts, and it's fun to try every class, regardless of level. I'll bet I know a lot more about shalemont than you, because I've spent hours in it levelling. Stop hating on my level and surplus of characters. I'm going to try my best while testing, but both high levels and lower levels need to enjoy their "gaming experience" (quoted from you). Now you know the applicant, maybe you'll stop stereotyping, and maybe you'll understand that eventually, I'll see stuff as a higher level's point of view as well.Ok lets think about this level 80 dude realistically for a second. Maybe I shouldn't have applied. I don't know. Obviously many of you think so.

Re: Who will be our ranger testers?
#56To be clear. I did not speed through my levels. I enjoyed the game and I still do not know you from reading a rage post. Plus I have spent time levelling 1 of every class too. You may know more about shale but I highly doubt there is that much to even know there that is worth while. Its like knowing all there is to know about making flour but not knowing how to make a cake with that flour. Andci wasnt mad that I didnt get picked cause I didnt apply first time around. Just happy there is someone to represent me now (141 ranger picked)Lol? 1 or 2 eyes? For the last time...get over the fact that you didn't make it. Re: Who will be our ranger testers?
#57i have not read through all these posts - but if it makes you feel better, i am a level 153 ranger who has been playing a bit over a year and i have been selected for the beta. Of course, the fact that my main is la ranger is no reason to suspect i will play a ranger in beta - i have no idea how that works. That being said, i have a 153 ranger, 140 mage and 109 rogue (and low level druid and warrior) and i definitely like playing the ranger the most - so would likely choose to do so in beta if given the chance.
