The maclir and icebound chests are all found in platinium shop or from people who bought from shop and sell for either gold or other trades

An ice bound mystery chest is a chest that can give you a variety of items. It can give you up to 3 items and can give you elixirs, fashion, charms, skimmers,idols, sigils, and instruments.

The maclirs mystery chest contains the same thing, but you only get one thing.

I recommend getting icebound over maclirs.

Also, remember this is a RANGER forum and you should be asking these things in you own world forum cause prices differ and etc.

Solo skills is the bomb at your level. just keep going with the skills I suggested before. Ill list em again

Steady Aim
Light heal
(and for your level etc: meditate- 7 points in this skill and all your energy problems go bye byes)

If and when you get extra skills you can worry about that later. DO NOT use bolas, that skill sucks your energy like no tomorrow. I also would get about 10 points in light heal and then stop putting pts in it until your skill stuff goes to 15-20, that will help with energy. The build above is very easy on the energy, especially as your using a buff and a heal of which you can use both of those before you go into battle.

As far as stormskimmer, no its definetly NOT ESSENTIAL. Its just cool (and nice) to have.

DO YOUR QUESTS!!!! Shalemont will help you unlock the ability to buy weapons from store (but try to always buy from someone else!) I would suggest an ancient Longbow- this bow will get you to level 60. DO NOT get ANY ancient leather armor, its crap. Go for ancient lamellar pants and shirt only and only if you can get them (or one at a time) for 5k each or less. Stick with corbins bracers until you get to warden gloves.
