Endgame bosses have mega high physic resists. To hit 4-5k pummel you have to have good gear and the boss needs absolutely no resist to whatever physical damage pummel does(some claim it does none of the three damage types listed). I hit 4k+ pummel regularly but never heard of it on endgame.

Pummel is crushing lol

The reason u see wars get kills on event spider is because the event spider has low crushing resist and high pierce resist. Its fire resist is also low but not as low as crushing. Yes i have seen some amazing war crits on spider. But they dont get those massive crits on almost any dl boss due to diff set of resists on those bosses.
