Well iv been following the xp guides and level for noobs guide but iv hit 51 wasp are hard as crap to kill it takes all of my energy and health and so far all I have in the game is an ancient longbows and 1k...my stats are str 120 dex 50 foc 50 vit 60 Beacuse I can't afford items my skills are light heal 9/17 bolas 13/17 sharp shot 17/17 aim skill 15/17 can't find anything else to train on and get money please help me with a ranger guide if u can I already checked iBooy or whatever the name was and he was too rich so I cudnt get the stuff he had...thanks..

So catacombs for money? can u be specific like what monster drops the most

I dont mean to be giving u a lecture but... rangers depend on dex, all there skills like sharp shot and barbed shot depend on more dex, so more dex= more skill dmg, so u might wanna take out points from ur str, lets say get ur str to 90 and ur dex to 80, ur focus and vit are perfect... second of upgrade ur skillz like: BOLAS-SHARP SHOT- LIGHT HEAL- RAPID SHOT- BARBED SHOT, i barely use STEADY AIM so its up to u if u wanna lvl steady aim or not............ now about the money and lvling.... farm for gold in catacombs; mainly deaths caress, on skeletons, cause sometime 'dry bones' spaawns and u get the ancient bones shard from it and u can do the quests for the bones which is repeatable..... now to lvl u might wanna stick to shalemont till lvl 60 ( thats what i did) kill stuff across camp from greygorge till ur lvl55, from lvl 55-60 train on mobs in shalemont river ( mainly the camp and up the stairs where luther macroin is).... after lvl 60 train on red wisps in southern road in stonevale...

I am noob ranger just a few levels higher than you. I have tried a full dex and full str ranger. To my tastes the full dex is more interesting, but even with steady aim always on you will not do as much dmg as a ful str ranger using steady aim and rapid. The thing I like about the full dex is that it also effects the heal. For soloing this makes the ranger very survivable. The full dex heal with some points in it and ability is about 200hp, which is a lot for that level. Because of the high dex you don't get interrupted too often. You can out heal lore dancers for instance and train warding this way. I am currently running full str though. I do not know if this will work as I move into OW.

Oh ok so dex is for healing really Beacuse I'm going to need a lot o it since I have no good def armour lol

Hmmm, i know im not anywhere near a pro ranger, and i know this isnt a stat sharing forum
BUT
i dont have massive dex, dex affects what... ?sharp shot, barbed, and light heal?
I dont use sharp shot, and i dont use barbed shot :/ and HALVING my dex decreased my light heal by 11
I can live with that
My stats are (roughly) 290/50/10/190
You need high health NO DOUBT ABOUT IT. Us rangers, we dont have great armor, or great heal, so we need health as a backup

As for skills, bolas(25/25) Entangled(29/25) <--i have a ring on that, i also only use this on bosses, it comes in handy there. Steady aim(20/25), light heal(29/25) and rapid(about17/25) this is also being increased atm


As for leveling and farming, hmmm
I moved to stonevale at level.....55+ and killed boars,great xp, no money -.- so farm in cata or crook

Look I am tired of people saying you have to be all "Dex" it what a ranger depends on, well thats not accurate at all. There are two builds that work for rangers and you will have to choose the one you want either DPS or Skills. If you go high dex I would not put much stock in Rapid Shot and focus more points in Sharp Shot and Barbed Shot you may also be able to role with less health if you got a good Light Heal. The other build the DPS (which I am, lvl 135) you need to concentrate on strength more and max your Bolo, Rapid and Steady Aim and throw a little excess in Light Heal just to help. My current stats are 325 str, 222 Dex (armour bonus) 15 focus (heroic Ammy and Gloves) and 140 health. I can solo mobs 5 -10 lvls higher than me with this build.

Try both builds some people dont like the DPS build and prefer the Skill build, is either one better than the other probably not it all comes to how you play the game. The highest lvl Ranger in my world (lvl 139) is a skill build and when we group we can pretty hadly take any MOB we want. The thing is consider how you are going to play if your a solo grinder I would lean towards the DPS side (in my opinion) but if you are a grouper and Boss hunter you may want to lean towards the skill side.

So Fr that build could you tell me how to get more platinum other then the 10 u get from facebook and twitter already do it and bout a skill book and got my sskillls right and I have 6 left so could u tell me how to get more free to. Get to 20?
