Celtic Heroes

Hello fellow rangers! And snoopers from other classes. I use rapid shot and I find it pretty effective. Inturepts skills good and helps for dps. But I am upset at the cost of it. Mine is 30/30 and costs 144 energy!! Insane. It also lasts for 20 seconds. So I'm a I bit upset. I think it should either cost less mana or last longer. It costs more than my 34/30 bolas which is way more effective.

Any thoughts and comments greatly appreciated. Thanks!

It's effective that's why it costs so much mana, try tinkering with it for quicker cool down and lower mana costs.

Why is bolas 34/30 what level 170 mobs are there in game ?

Yeah I've tinkered alot. Hence the 34/30 bolas. Messed up skills and don't feal like reduing. Unless a lvl 170 spurts outa the ground I'll be set. I'll probs invest in another ring. Thanks for the feed back

I actually find rapid effective at 10/30 , cool down is so fast I can almost always be rapid , maybe cast spikes or barbed while timer resets

unfortunately the way it is set up it's only effective/efficient up to about level 10 or so. anything beyond that it simply drains too much mana and is not worth it.
the other unfortunate thing is that Rapid Shot seems to be the only really useful offensive skill - sharp shot only is good if you try to max out on dex, which you won't do much auto-attack damage without putting in a lot of stats in STR, and barb is kinda silly 'cause it takes long enough to fire and in that case rapid is a lot better. STR + Rapid seems to be the real efficient way to go to kill fast and level.

If you have rejuv quiver, ring, and heroic I'm sure that 114 energy or what wont be that bad =P

Reviving a slightly old thread.

Does this mean Rapid Shot goes by about 0.5 seconds per skill pt (assuming around 5 seconds initial)?

I have 10/10 now, and it lasts maybe 10 seconds lol

I keep mine at 9/20 thats all i need it at really. by the time the effect has worn off i only have to wait like 5 sec before i can use it again. so maybe give that a go..

LOL it's just that when you're in the middle of battle, that 5 secs (and you may be right on!) is an Eternity lol!

P.S. I now have Rapid at 12/20 and lasts about 12 sec
