Making Rangers a better class

Lower cooldown and mana cost for sharp shot, higher damage on sharpshot based on dex, allowing rangers to go on full dex and making the class skill based and little damage on auto hits. extra damage dealt on mobs when bolased, 5%

Rangers are fine the way they are.
The only skills I think should be tweaked are spikes and entangle. Spikes should last longer, it's really a pain to have to recast every 60 seconds. Entangle sucks either way but the recast timer shouldn't be twice as long as the spell lasts , especially since it is avoided so often anyways.

rangers are pretty powerful as they are. Yes, sharp shot is not massive damage like sneaky, storm, or ice. but what we lack in one-time massive damage is more than compensated by the speed with which we do very good damage - giving us very good damage over time.
I think someone said it best when they said that rangers are second best at everything.
That being said, i think some of the newer skills could be updated (i tried them and gave them all up) - Eliminator mentioned some good ideas. i would add that camo/conceal should be adjusted so that skill points makes the skill last longer (and it acts like a camo charm). The skill would hide ppl from mobs that are up to 15 levels higher than the caster (so a level 80 ranger can hide his group from level 95 mobs).

I agree, i tryed out entangle a few times 60 second cooldown when 29 points stacked into it, then nothing more annoying then when it gets avoided multiple times in a row, it should be less evade-able too mine gets evaded atleast 1/2 of the time, although i think spikes is fine as it is but that might be me talking from still being dazzled from the animation xD

Agreed about the spikes animation, coolest in the game . In my clan we have multiple high level rangers and rogues , so I play my ranger as support most of the time and trust me having to cast spikes 15 times during a 15 minute Aggy fight is just really annoying .
