i was just curious as to what the pros and cons of bown and spears are

I was only played 15 min on update before I was disconnected
But I'm pretty sure bows are faster though I could be wrong

Where can i buy the spear?

Yes, I try it, can't throw and no attack skills use...

And they still suck...

The issue with a spear is simple: much less damage per second compared to bows. This is for the simple fact that we have damage skills related to bows, but only double attack and rapid for spear.

I think that perhaps a spear build could help with farming lvl 150+ with the right evasion gear. I would like to attempt to solo falgren and copper without pots on a spear build with a royal shield of the mountain, both evasion bracelets and rings of battle and war. With my warding maxed, it might allow me to solo, we will see. I could see this as being one situation where a spear build would be useful. Another situation could be if you play more than one character on multiple devices. A tank with Bolas, skewer, entangle and lheal could be helpful in a group. However this would likely be very expensive and require a lot of lux.

The cons to using a bow are really none, with the ability to have ranged combat, regen from a quiver, and the use of all skills aside from skewer, I see no cons to a bow.

A spear build is situation at best and not recommended for leveling.

Bows are better since they are more abundant on worlds than spears. Bows are also faster and have a larger range of skills that can be used.

Bows are better dps, but Spears hit hard.
