Are you often asked to be a pseudo druid?

My ranger is now level 105 and when I'm leveling up in OW I get "spammed to death" by warriors, rogues, and mages to group with them and to help keep them healed. I may be biased but I have a really wicked ranger with top end gear and all the trimmings, the thing is I really dont need anybody else to help me level. Is there a lack of druids in the higher levels? My light heal gives around 460 health each cast which is decent, but not even close to the power of a druid. I often make a great team with whoever I group with and I really dont mind helping somebody out, I just wonder why I'm in such demand? I do think that my survivabilty is better than that of a druid due to better AC which translates to less dying and faster leveling than a druid. I'm curious to see others experiences with this. I dont have any light heal rings yet, but I've been shouting out to buy them if available. I figure whenever I am in a "pseudo druid" role that I might as well max out my healing ability so as soon as I get any light heal rings I'll be putting them to good use. Anyway this post mostly applies to levels 100+ but I'd love to hear from you about your experiences and any tips you may have to offer. Thanks in advance.

Embrace the roll of healer in xp groups. Playing ranger in my opinion is all about adapting to what's needed in group and keeping it rolling .

Untill level 80 i never used heal. I figured that was for druids. I used all my skill points in damage spells. So at lvl 80, when i started using lightheal, my first aid abillity started at nothing. So far i think i have it up to like 400something. So anyway, my light heal sucks. so i rarely get asked to be a wannabe druid. but anytime i am in a group, even if i am the primary dps, i always try to keep the tank healed. I dont mind a bit.

Lol high end stuff you must buy plat. I never bought play and my heal was 607. When i was your lv it was 500 so i always grouped with People. they want you as a ranger because your heal is enough to stay alive and you do 200 dmg i bet and have decent skill dmg unlike a druid which can't do dmg. I know i like partnering with another ranger dmg and heal

DRUIDS CAN'T DO DAMAGE?? I'll have you know that my Druid ksed friendly ranger and rogue the same level as me while I was power lvling them. If your Druids are just standing there doing nout then they are shite Druids. Surely these guys have vines or lightning they can help dps with... Of course Druids can dps. Full support Druids aren't that good till they are super high level... You're mates really should be hybrid till they are 120+. IMO.
Ps my ranger is lvl 102 I'm looking at posts for tips on barbed shot, not just here trolling...

Good for your druid. Yeah our friendly druids are all 140+ there support for tanks an bosses. The mid lv druids we got dont buy plat so they dont have eq to make em super dmg dealers. My ranger still beats alots of druids im better then most lv 90's, if rangers had shield bark druids wouldn't be needed lawl

Really ignorant how the hell is that ignorant. Its my personal opinion you can go screw yourself dude. My ranger heals 607 an thats with out trying i could get over 800-900 if i tryied thats better then alot of druids if i had bark or a shield buff any boss group im in wouldn't need a druid for most bosses. I group with 1 tank already any dont need a druid. So as i said go screw yourself. Its an opinion and i guess it makes me nooby. Also go check the highest ranger heal its 1.3k
