Sorry i recently made a ranger lv61 and just got Entangle...wondering if its useless.

It does reduce the mobs hits in half but it will not look like it works because the graphic still attacks you just as fast as normal. But only half the actions do damage. I use it as a group buff boss fights.

So i should get book of alt and max it a long with bolas light heal and sharp shot?

No upgrade steady aim bolas lite heal and any other points into conceal

Why no sharp shot?

Currently my ranger is very low level for my clan and I want to be usefull in boss fights. So I have maxed all my support skills, bolas, entangle, lt heal. This way we can be fighting all the meteoric bosses and though i can't do damage I can contribute.

Max sharp shot, light heal, steady aim, and defensive spikes when you get them. think about maxing bolas- warning uses a TON of energy. leave everything else except meditation at 1. good luck!

I was useless to me i missed half the time with good amount of dex and the cooldown is way to long it sucks when u miss twice in a row boss should be dead by then

Well if u have a camo like i do now for ranger conceal is pointless

up until level 130 or so i was max on light heal, rapid, sharp shot with leftover in steady aim. i had a fair amount of vit, but was mostly dex. every battle would start bolas, rapid, sharp. it was pretty effective.

I have switched to a lot more str and noticed that my sharp was not much more than my auto - so i gave up sharp for def spike (not great, but helps a bit once they close in).

Now, with equipment my str=345, dex=375 - i have bolas, light, rapid, steady maxed (well, bolas is not maxed, but does level 160 mobs) and the rest in def spikes. i am considering going back to sharp if it looks like it will do more dmg than auto with my dex at 375.
