I have a few questions regarding ranger skills as I am new to the ranger class...

I was wondering what is being upgraded in your rapid shot skill when you upgrade it, the only thing it does is increase the energy cost. Some people were saying that if you leave your rapid shot at 1 it would be the same as it being maxed. And last but not least, where do I get steady aim

I was wondering what is being upgraded in your rapid shot skill when you upgrade it, the only thing it does is increase the energy cost. Some people were saying that if you leave your rapid shot at 1 it would be the same as it being maxed. And last but not least, where do I get steady aim

What is being upgraded besides the enormous energy cost of rapid shot is its duration. the more points you have in it the long it lasts but also the longer you have to wait to recast it. This is why many people including myself like to leave it at 1. It is better that way. Steady aim must be bought from the ranger skills vendor in farcrag castle right outside the courtyard I believe.

Ok and any idea what steady aim does when upgraded? Just increase dmg and attack per upgrade?

Steady aim increase dmge and chance to hit yes, maxing rapid and having it at 1 are totally different because of "time"- rapid shot stays long when maxed; at first i kept my rapid at one because it was efficient to use sharp, barbed, light heal, and bolas during longer battles- I'm working on maxing it; i stat myself to replicate my lvl 150+ ranger clanmates Chucky Deathsbank and 120+ Agro
