Celtic Heroes

I just got level 80, and luckily someone was selling a diamond bow, so I bought it. I now have the question, what should i save up for first; golden quiver, or heroic gloves. Just wondering which one would be better

Definetly ice quiver it has a decent regen and is has great damage it would be a lot better than any other item then after words save for ammy then the heroic gloves and the rest... The ice quiver cost a lot but it's nothin if u farm often . Goodluck

yea better buy ice quiver,DONT buy magic it is bad.

I would ask yourself what you need more now. Just a damage increase or a dex and regen increase? If you just want damage get the heroic gloves first- they effectively double your dps. Then you can get the quiver- and all of its luxuries- faster. Heroic gloves are also a lot cheaper.

100 cold damage vs 30% speed boost.

For dps I would rather have gloves any day. The quiver adds to dps but not really enough to make more of an impact than heroic gloves. For the dex and regens (and the 100 cold dmg) the quiver is priceless- in its own way.

I said "in the short run." I would think that it's better for training, and rangers do have rapid shot as well. One rapid would do more damage combined with quiver than with just the gloves. Don't use rapid? Use it at 1/X

But in the long run. Most mobs aren't going to die in a few hits. Rapid is not that good. Try it on the 3 dummies in farcrag near the person who gives rangers rapidshot. Once go around all of them with rapid active. Then go around with no rapid and haste gloves. You will e able to get down 1 maybe 2 dummies with rapid- before the first dummy sinks into the ground. Whereas with gloves you can kill all the dummies before the first one disappears. And yeah I use rapid at 1- it works best that way.

It is mainly bad because mages don't normally have a lure, or if they do its not maxed. Also though the end game mobs are fire based and ice does more damage to them than magic.
