so i have recently started a ranger and have got my hands on some nice dps gear, a golden blade included, and would like to start a knuckles ranger, the reason i chose knuckle ranger over knuckle rogue is because of the skills, i love the light heal mainly, so if anyone would most kindly post a knuckles guide it would be very much appreciated, or if there already is one would you please link it to me, thank you very much in advance :)

hello.

rangers knuckleblades are excellent for bossfights (in dPs)

to be an awesome ranger id go all out str build, simply because str will add to the damage and you dont use any damage skills whith knucks on ranger.
also buy super haste elixers for long bossfights, ( if you get super haste elxers and your going to use them i suggest swapping your gloves for corbins bracers)
defensive spikes is alright skill when your using knucks...
also id have a bow so when you equip the bow you cast steady aim then unequip the bow and equip the knucks and you will still be on steady aim. so yes better attack and damage for 1 min ( i think 1 minute lolz)

if your thinking of using light heal id go 100 dex and rest str leave the dex alone forever :D and buy diamond gear because it increases dex/str and vit.
also your hp wont need to be much because of the 100 dex and light heal. (just group whith a tanker and a druide).

this is just my 2 cents, and really does work for me. anyways id get more opinions if your serious about h2h build.

Depends on what you mean by all strength... I would advise a pure dps build if you want maximum dps at the moment. But a dex build with knucks is good too. No matter what make sure you are putting 2 vit in for each level at least until you get to 1k health- although you will prolly want more health if you want to solo train at all. Make sure you have 100 dex, its very important and helps you out a bit, as left4dead has said. ;)

For skills with knucks light heal, defensive spikes, and possibly steady aim (lasts 2 minutes... thank goodness), entangle, and rapid shot.

Diamond armor for rangers adds dex and focus... If you do not have warden/meteoric/frozen, it might be a really good idea. Especially the breastplate and greaves- those are the hardest to get.

I think that's it. But if you do level with a tank, you had better make sure he can keep agro for you if you have very little health. ;) He might need to just spam taunting skills.

Steady Aim's buff does not carry over to knuckleblades. Does for spears and novelty but not knuckleblades.

But that's what he means by carrying a bow around. equip the bow, cast steady aim, and switch to knucks. Go attack and kill a few mobs. Repeat process.

And yeah pugilism rings help with knucks attack as well of course.

Lol im not sure you understood what i meant. When you cast steady aim with a bow then switch to knuckles, there is no change in attack or damage from your original attack and damage with knuckles. The icon will still be at the top, but you don't actually get the buff. So there is no benefit to casting steady aim with bow then switching to knuckles.

im preety sure it does.
rapid shot carrys on to knucks ( atm lol).
im pretty sure if you equip a bow than cast steady aim then equip knucks you will still have steady aim on.
idk ill have to try again.

lol as i said before the icon is there when you buff then switch to knuckleblades, but there is no change in the actual numbers from your stats
