I've been saving my gold, and am finally ready to start thinking about a real lux item. Problem is, I don't know which to go for first...

Any advice, tips, or help would be appreciated.

Should my first item be Haste gloves, a Lux Quiver, or a Heroic Ammy? Haste gloves: help me kill faster, thus more gold, thus easier to buy another lux. Quiver, more damage, more kills, plus regen. Ammy, less heals, less cool down time between kills.

I can't make up my mind. Like I said, I'd love advice from those of you who have been here, done that.

I am a no-plat Ranger. (I occasionally use xp lixes, but that is about it.) My stats (including armor and jewelry bonuses):

Str: 120
Dex: 192
Foc: 25
Vit: 183

My equipment:

Diamond Bow
Lunar gloves and boots
Duskshadow Bp
Warden helm

I have an energy ring, and Major Wyrmscale braces, fabled ring of light heal, crystal steady aim, and glass rapid.

Skills I use are light heal (maxed), steady aim (maxed), rapid at 5, sharp shot (maxed) and bolas (almost maxed).

One more thing: if I get a quiver, which?

I'm no expert,but magic seems like what everyone is using personally i would use magic just my say in this.

Ice is wat pple recomend but most mobs have lower magic resist and at higher lvls fire sucks so u chiose magic or ice. I use ice u choose

I was wondering, why are the Ice/Fire/Magic quivers more popular than the pierce lux quivers? The ones in Quigley's shop? Isn't pierce multiplied by strength? Wouldn't it be better to have that multiplication than just the flat damage of the elemental quivers? Or do most Rangers not have enough Str to make it worth it?

Depends on your build. Elemental damage may not be AS strong as piercing, but with +75 dex, 15 Rejuv, and 100 health and energy, I would prefer the Ice Quiver. : P

Plus you would need way above average strength forranger to have higher damage with pierce quiver

i would probably get a quiver because there is probably currently nothing in that spot (maybe youve got a quiver of farsight but thats not the point)
i would choose ice but magic would be ok too

Depends on what lure the mage is using..most are fire based.
