Skewer

I have the full beast bone set and the boots add 10 skewer damage. Does this add damage to barbed shot or is there a skill i dont know about?

Skewer is a new skill for both rogues and rangers. It's a spear skill i think, so that bonus is useless to 99% of rangers. Can someone confirm?

It is also a warrior skill for those with spears
