Ranger still lack at everything

I am aware everyone may have or not yet found the right build for your ranger. I myself have used many reds and blue books and test out many area and find that ranger are still lack in damage and support.

Testing..
- solo pve (player vs environment): I find that dex build are more effective but still lack of skills damage out put. The skills recharge are painfully long for the damage taken from the mob, light heal get interupted over and over again but eventually after spamming it, finally works.

- group support (dex base support): I find that our lack of support out put such as sharpen weapon are not even close to any different because you require to cast them closer to players and will most likely the main cause of death due to high power bosses in the new zones. Light heal was ok (ish) because this build was intentionally for support.

- pvp (player vs player): dex build are no where near effective compare to str build when it comes to arena war.
I had 420 str and 400 vit, I can take down any class (within 5 lvls apart) with 50/50% chance. Unfortunately for dex build due to light heal nurfed and lack of auto damage out put, I cannot say the same.

Overall build for both pve and pvp:
I end up with 51% str and 49% hp for best survivability and damage out put.

This concluded the reason why I think that ranger still lack of dps and support. Our damage was too low to be effective with the new 'rage' bosses. Our support skills are poorly designed and nurfed. Druid always had been the supporting class still have a great dps out put ratio to healing. We have dps out put ratio to meh, for everything.
I personally would like to choose any role and be effective at it. Since ranger was design to be an all rounder, we're not here to be good at everything all at once BUT we should be good at something as requirement to adapt.
Ranger still lack at both sides of the game.

I just want light heal how it was in v3, and rapid to have a cooldown proportionate to the amount of points in it, seems fair?

Lh is good with 10% increase and stuff but rapid cooldown needs to go back and be the same as v3

+1 for rapid cooldown and faster light heal.
These skills were perfected in v3.
Also sharp/long shot need to factor the damage and speed of your equipped weapon.

Funny how they want all rangers to use dex builds yet they keep nerfing our dex skills so that strength build is still better

For the love of god will someone start a petition to remove/reduce the light heal nerf from pvp bad enough bolas wears off almost right after I cast it

Just to point out the obvious as many of you have realised- decreasing lh by 10% and increasing it again by 10% isnt the original value. Say your light heal is 1000, they reduce by 10% so its now 900- than they increase by 10% which is not 1000 but 990. Meaning although it sounds as if its gone back to normal, its still not as good as it used to be. Here it doesnt sound like much of a big deal- however when they do the same to skill cooldowns or increase percentage diffrence- it matter quite a lot. Lets say in worst case scenario sharp shot does 1000damage, they decrease by 50% so now its 500damage- they than say oh weve put it back to normal by increasing it by 50% again, however now its 750 damage which is considerable lower than the original value. Point of this post is to make some ppl aware of this so they dont get tricked when otm say theyve put skills bak to normal by decreasing and increasing by same amount.
