I cant decide which to use.

Long shot is high dmg and pin for 2 sec (long enough to get off another skill). Down side is only usable once per fight.

Explosive arrow has dmg on par with sharp shot. Usable more than once per fight. Aoe DMG for more than one mob. Takes longer to cast than sharp shot but has almost same cool down.

Now ATM imstrictly leveling, no bossing or anything. Im using steady aim, sharpen wpns, sharp shot, explosive arrow.

Thoughts and opinions please.

longshot...exp arrow has Aoe dmg wich can sometimes hit other mobs if u arent carefull and u can get agro and die ._. longshot is strong and it can be multiple use per battle....i used to bolas boggans and instantly cast longshot....then when it reloaded the bolas was stil going for like 5 secs so i ran back and longshotted again

i heard explosive can be good, but will drain the energy, its also pure dex, but prob great with mages since most are fire mages

E.A is the best way for die when lvling solo or bossing.
Bring mobs and i find explosive arrow use a lot of energy and do poor dmg.(but the skill idea is good)

Explosive is terrible, long cast + animation time, double the energy cost of sharp while only doing slightly more damage. Choose long, then sharp too over explosive arrow.

Neither. Max steady aim and sharpen weapons, then get a lure monkey!

I have faced this same issue myself as a non bolas ranger. I still go longshot because of the pin, high dmg, low energy cost factors. Also lets u pull only 1 mob vs a few.
