I'm looking for a build that works from abot 130-180+. I don't know much about rangers so I would like your advice on the matter
The equipment will use is:
Bloodlust
Adamant bp/legs (until I get full frost)
meteoric gloves, boots, and helm (full frost once i get it)
Spectral ammy of midnight
Imperial bracelet of the blade
Royal bracelet of impact
Gold Camo Charm
3 royal aggy dmg rings
1 other skill ring (royal longshot, grand lightheal, or grand double shot)
Adamant Bow
I will be training on Knowledges + Hastes + HP
Thanks!
Well I have my own ranger on the bottom tier of that but ill give it a go, and higher level rangers can correct me if necessary.
Dex build alla way. It gives u survival, great skills, and attack/defense.
3:2 dex:vit is how you should distribute your stat points until you hit 500 dex (including bonuses) or so, and then you can decide what to do with the rest of your points (like 2.1.0.2 or 3:2 str:vit this time). This is if you use an elemental dmg quiver, if you decide to go with the pierce dmg quiv I would ask eliminator, as he definitely knows more about that than I do.
For skills use:
Light heal-max
Longshot-max
Sharp shot-max
Sharpen/Steady Aim (whichever you prefer, steady adds attack and dmg while sharpen adds just dmg, but your dex gives u plenty of attack)- max
Double shot- at 1, but at higher levels you might want to switch this skill with say sharp shot/sharpen and get it to where its effective at 10 lvls above your own
For your skill ring slot I would choose either light heal (which you will be able to use all the time- and helps with survival) and longshot (a one time hit thing like sneaky but excellent dmg dealer). In my effort to get better survivability I would choose light heal, but that choice is yours.
Once you hit 160 get the wyrmbone bow- it will be a killer with a haste lix. At 135-140 Some say froz, others wyrmbone (140), up to you. with haste you could probably afford the slower but higher dmg bone bow. I would also collect and use the beastbone armor (starts at 140), it really is quite good.
