Couple Questions

#1
I recently obtained the meteoric bow, full lunar, and a new lux quiver so my stats have changed a bit. I'm currently more of a dex build and for skills I use longshot, sharpshot, steady aim, bolas, and light heal. How many points should I have in strength and how much vitality should I have for my level? Also wheres the best place to be leveling? I usually level with another person around the same level.

Personally I prefer a dex build because I like high skill hits. However, a strength build is a totally viable option is you want to use sharpen weapons and double shot. It really is up to you. It takes a lot of playing around to find what you like. So just test it all out. Stats look good but why 11 focus?

I prefer dex too, but I like some strength for a decent auto, so my question is how much strength should I have for decent auto but still good skill hits. Also, I'm not sure how much health I should have. The 11 focus was an accident lol, I meant to put 5 points dex but didn't notice I hit focus :/

Well you have a good build. That's the same build i run. It's almost exactly the same except I have more dex, vit, str even though I am a lower lvl then you. I guess I just have more lux. Anyways I have 404 dex and the strenght is about the same so I think that is a good build already. I'm going to switch over to a full dex build because i personally think it is better so i'll top my dex off at 500.

My OCD is kicking in. When i put stat points it has to end in a 5 or 0. But that's just me. Im freaky ;)
Agreed. All my bases end in a 5 or 0. So it has to be either 100, 105 and blah blah.

Olex, even though im only a lvl 102 ranger, i still know alot about rangers cuz i have really high lvl ranger friends (squirl, etc.) but i am also on world epona so it might change for your world high ranger friends:) Lol................. Anyways, as i said before, u should always have yur vit at least twice yur lvl so when u hit 200, your vit should be atleast 400:) So since u r lvl 106, yur vit should be....212:) if yur lvl 150, it should be 300:) So always put at least 2 stat points in vit when u lvl:) And the other 3 points u have left over, I'd say put in dex, or str:)

I run full dex too and have it topped at 500 (800 with bonus) and my vit 300. As I have said in almost all my recent posts the double vit rule is bull. It is a rule that you should NEVER follow unless you plan on tanking. No way you will need that hp. Also you can get decent str and attack boosts that will help significantly with auto attack so I recomend a build more towards dex. Again just my opnion take it as you will.

Saxo, one things is that thats u that runs around with only 300 vit, not him.
Second, the vit rule is good in more ways then bad.
Third, u need at least twice yur lvl vit inorder to get in groups and solo some bosses:)
Fourth, if u r against Mordy, yull need as much health as u can get.
Fifth, if u dont have full DL armour, u wont have the fingals cave sheild that protects u from a skill that Mordy casts, therefore, yull die faster unless u have at least yur vit twice yur lvl:)

Agreed. I personally enjoy my vit being twice my level. I have seen people with full dl with only 130 vit die against a puny boss. It's really pitiful.
