It is a useful skill, it slows down enemy attacks and reduces the damage, why would you hate that skill?
If bolas got evaded then you can cast entangle, which is actually a good combination! If both got evaded then just hope that you'll survive
Doesn't use much energy
And it doesn't get evaded much if you're a dex Ranger

At your level, I used it all the time when leveling. It is great for those of us who don't buy plat. You sacrifice a damage skill to have it, but it increases solo and group survivability. We have had this discussion before, some like it, others want to be rogues..... ( :p )

I have around 750 health sigs

bolas --> run away --> sigil time --> attack

They assume that the skill is broken because the attack animation doesn't show any signs of slowing.

It sucks cause compared to bolas its cooldown takes literally forever.

That's true, but I only use it for boss fights. Outside of that it isn't as viable.

I do not use entangle because I have a need for speed rather than survivability. 3k+ restos...
